A chemical peel is a great option for most people looking to improve their skin quality. Chemical peels are not recommended for those who are pregnant or breastfeeding, as well as people taking certain medications. A full consultation is necessary to find the best solution for you.

Immediately after your peel, the following responses are normal:

● Redness to the treated area
● Increased sensitivity

After a chemical peel, the skin is temporarily photosensitive - YOU MUST wear sunscreen SPF 50 every day and avoid direct exposure to sunlight.

Some, but not all may experience an increase of dead skin cells (dry skin) with in the first 48-72 hours, these will flake away themselves, although you will need to avoid touching and rubbing the treated area.

Recovery time will vary depending on the type of peel you get and your skin’s response to the treatment.
